I couldn’t enjoy the effects, because it turned out I was allergic to the product (it gave me hives), but I can say this — it tastes *disgusting.* It’s tastes like concentrated grass. If you like to drink juiced wheatgrass you might not mind the flavor. For me, there are plenty of other Omega-3 rich foods that don’t taste nearly as nasty. This product is also prohibitively expensive, and expires after only a month. Just not worth it!

The Sacha Inchi oil has a very noticeable effect on the inflammation--I've slept an average of 8 hours a night for four nights in a row since I started taking it (I was averaging 6). (I noticed the same effect the last time I got a bottle of Sacha Inchi as well--that was more than a year ago.) Keep it in the freezer--it oxidizes extremely quickly once it's opened. (It will stay in a liquid state even at freezing temperatures.) I broke my neck snowboarding in 2001 (but it didn’t cause paralysis), and the injury can still cause enough tension and inflammation that I can have trouble focusing at work and sleeping at night. The Sacha Inchi oil has a very noticeable effect on the inflammation–I’ve slept an average of 8 hours a night for four nights in a row since I started taking it (I was averaging 6). (I noticed the same effect the last time I got a bottle of Sacha Inchi as well–that was more than a year ago.) Keep it in the freezer–it oxidizes extremely quickly once it’s opened. (It will stay in a liquid state even at freezing temperatures.) Also, as far as I understand, getting too much Omega-3 can thin the blood, so if one is at risk for stroke, they should check with their doctor about dosage.

We are very satisfied with this product. It just has psyllium husks – no additives, no sugar, no sugar substitutes, like all store and drugstore brands. It works great, it cleanses your intestines, gives you more energy. I know it also controls cholesterol, treats constipation and diarrhea and can lower your weight. However, my reason for taking it while being on anti-candida diet together with Candida clear, garlic, pau d’arco tea and grapefruit seed extract.
